Neil was brought on winter of 2022 to help define rich Creative pipelines across all BrightAI departments, and levels of hierarchy to further the Communication Design & overaching Creative Direction with BrightAI.

  • Define the BrightAI SmartCity, an illustrated concept presented to BrightAI to help turn complex subjects into bite-size narratives
    This was an intentional narrative concept, as Co-Founders stemmed from Samsung SmartThings
  • Create a useable, flexible icon framework working with the Noun Project. This encourages decentralized models, increasing Brand Accessibility for internal Creatives & pedestrians, alike.
  • Increase the usability and customization of the BrightAI Brand—building deeper Brand rules, guidelines, and systems for formatting across platforms like Mailchimp, Google Slides, Docs, and custom designs within Adobe Illustrator
  • Continue to encourage a hands-on, Iterative Brand Model— studying and restructuring internal Creative pipeline as needed

Half of Neil's decade plus career has been invested in Visual Development & Illustration for Storyboarding, Editorial Illustration, Motion, Color Theory, Package & Product Design. He has helped startups grow, and established organizations find a new sense of narrative self. Illustration is a magical and incredibly diverse tool that breathes life into seemingly flat end-products across Marketing, Advertising, Digital & Physical Products & Packaging. Visual Development tells a story that weaves together the fabric of Copy, Video, Photography, Motion, Development and Design.

From 2011 - 2016, Neil worked as a Senior Illustrator for a number of clients ranging from Audi to Verizon Wireless.

A life-long learner, Neil is absolutely obsessed with learning how tooling can create more holistic Creative Services. He took roughly 6 years off of Illustration to round out his offerings as a Brand Designer, Creative & Business Strategist, Art & Creative Director. In 2023, Neil has begun to offer Illustration as a Creative Service, once again, and is stoked to be working on a number of fun, Illustration builds.
